Mungaaru is a blended mix of premium grade Robusta beans and Chicory. It contains 70% of Medium to dark roast Robusta grown at a slightly higher elevation than usual to bring out dark chocolaty, nutty, and earthy notes that complement the required bitterness from the use of 30% Chicory. It has a medium-heavy body resulting in a fantastic mouthfeel and a sweet milk chocolate aftertaste.
The art on the packaging is a tribute to one of our folk dance forms known as “Veeragaase” performed during festivals and ceremonies.
